August Newsletter
a guide to a beautiful august
Although the summer heat has yet to die down, something in the air changes August 1st. People rush to soak up with last weeks of summer but at night you can feel the first whispers of fall in the air.
August is an in between. A soft transition from one chapter to another .
If August was a day it would be a lazy Sunday morning with a iced latte and a good book, it’s a love letter written in loopy cursive, it’s a glass of wine on a pier watching the sunset dance across the water. It’s the closing chapter to a summer well spent.
In an effort to make life a little more beautiful, I put together an unqualified guide to the perfect August. Enjoy <3
Looks:
August calls for breezy fabrics, cotton pajama sets, linen pants, and accessorizing. Think classic Nancy Meyers with modern touches.

Bites
Eating is one of my greatest joys and August demands the yummiest of foods.
Think pastas made with garden fresh tomato sauce, white wines, bowls of cherries, fresh sourdough bread, steak salad with pickled onions and gorgonzola, and of course lemon blueberry pancakes. A non negotiable.

August calls for reading a good book under a tree, I don’t make the rules. Here’s what I’ll be reading this month.

I hope above all else this month brings peace and moments of contentment, because that is all you can really ask for. That and lemon blueberry pancakes. Wishing you a magical August.
